Michael has been in his current role for almost nine years and was promoted to Senior IT Applications Specialist in November of 2022. A Senior IT Applications Specialist is a hybrid position consisting of Application Technical support, Web Development/DevOps, and QA Analyst. All of his experience has been within the same team, the Automation & BIT Solutions group of IT.
Michael has almost nine years experience developing HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, Python, and PHP. Michael has used various tools and methods including Visual Studio Code, Dreamweaver, Notepad++, and Visual Studio. Michael has also worked to build his UX/UI Design skills, by taking additional online courses. He uses Adobe Xd to create new layouts and designs.
Michael has worked as a SharePoint Site Developer for almost nine years. All of his experience has been within the Software Quality and Services Business Area of IT. Michael has experience with SharePoint Project Site support and SharePoint design & development for his team and for customer facing sites.

Michael has been working with PowerPlatform for over five years. He has continued to work towards building his skills and knowledge as a PowerApps and PowerAutomate Developer. Michael assisted with the migration of assets from InfoPath to the PowerPlatform. As part of the PowerApps migration, Michael also built a Tutorial App. Another task Michael completed was the develoment of an automated Flow for archiving data and flows auditing user access.
Michael has over fours years developing experience within Wordpress. Michael built a personal Wordpress site, which you can find the link to in the "About Me" menu. Michael is also in a develoment stage on a Wordpress site for a nonprofit organization based out of Akron, OH.
Michael has almost nine years of QA/Data Analyst and DevOps experience using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and Azure DevOps. Michael is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) as a QA Ananlyst for the in-house built Workforce Management Tool (WFM Tool). Michael has been the primary testor of this custom app for over four years now.
Michael is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary source as a Technical and Internal Application Support Specialist for: MS Project, MS Project Server, Custom Internal Web App (WFM - Work Force Management Tool), PowerApps and Power Automate, and recently Planview Products (Agile Place, Project Place, Roadmaps, and soon to be Portfolios), as well as a few other tools and assets.
Michael is a hobbyist digital artist and photographer with a focus on abstract art, landscapes, and astrology. Michael aspires to expand his interest in astrophotography and has plans to acquire a telescope, imaging software, and a fully equipped camera to capture deep sky images.
